Log into your PayPal account and navigate to your custom page payment pages:
- Click the Profile icon at the top right of your PayPal admin area
- Click Profile and settings in the dropdown
- Click My selling tools in the left navigation bar
- Locate Custom payment pages in the Selling online section and click the associated Update link
Select your primary payment page
Note that you may add a new payment page if you do not want to overwrite your existing payment page style (the below screenshot shows a new payment page that we have added and named Aarfie). If you do this, please ensure that the new page you create is set to your primary page by clicking the Make Primary button.
Select your primary payment page and click the Change button:
Customise and save your payment page
Use the Edit Custom Page Style settings to customise your primary payment page. For the most professional results we recommend that you edit only the following settings:
- Page Style Name
- Cart Area Gradient Color
- Header Image URL
Your header image must be no larger than 750 pixels wide by 90 pixels high and must be located on a secure server - see following article section.
Secure server images
Any image URLs you enter into your PayPal payment page settings must be secure as explained by PayPal:
Why should I store images on a secure server?
We recommend that you enter an image URL for your custom page style only if the image is stored on a secure server. If the image is not stored on a secure server, your customer’s web browser will display a message that the payment page contains nonsecure items.
You can determine whether or not your image is stored on a secure server by examining its URL. The URL for an image on a secure server will begin with https:// instead of http:// (Note the additional s.)
If you do not have your own secure server, you can use Imgur or Dropbox as detailed in our support article How do I upload images or files for my Big Cartel page content?
